HOW TO PRESERVE PLANTAINS FOR UP TO 12 MONTHS

Just showing you how I preserve plantains. I specified a year but really, as long as you've got constant power supply, they'll be OK for longer.
I must admit, I learnt the double freeze method from @Yummieliciouzfoodrecipes on Instagram. Normally, I would simply transfer the plantains into ziplock bags and freeze. The double freeze method ensures that the plantains don't stick together. That, I find really clever so, many thanks to her for that clever trick.
